I’m Sam The Roof Man, and roofing has been part of my life for more than 20 years. I grew up actually installing roofs—not just selling them—and over the years I’ve worked with virtually every major shingle brand and learned the business from the roof deck all the way through sales, insurance restoration, production, and leadership. I’ve knocked the doors, climbed the roofs, met the adjusters, handled the objections, closed the deals, and helped train the people doing it.

Today, my goal with Sam The Roof Man is simple: teach homeowners and roofing professionals what I’ve learned without all the industry BS. I believe a great roofing professional should understand the entire system—materials, ventilation, storm damage, insurance claims, repairs, warranties, sales, follow-up, and ultimately how to take care of people. Roofing is complicated enough; my job is to make it understandable.

More importantly, I’m a Christian, husband, father, coach, and teacher who happens to know a whole lot about roofs. My faith and my family come before business, and they shape how I believe business should be done: tell people the truth, do what you said you would do, take responsibility, serve people well, and never stop getting better. That’s what Sam The Roof Man is about—real roofing knowledge from somebody who has actually lived it.
