2012 | THE BEGINNING
In 2012, I discovered digital painting and photo manipulation, opening a new chapter in my artistic life. After purchasing my first iPad, I built my own artistic stylus by hand, at a time when the Apple Pencil did not yet exist. With the newly emerging app Procreate, I began exploring a completely different way of expressing myself through art.
For years, my creative world had revolved around music composition, songwriting and poetry. But the beauty of painting directly on a digital screen captivated me, inspiring me to follow a new artistic path filled with curiosity, experimentation and endless possibilities.
This new beginning came during a difficult period in my personal life. I had recently lost my beloved maternal grandmother, and her passing left a deep sadness within me. Perhaps that is why these first works carry something more than the excitement of discovery.
They were born from the desire to explore
new creative horizons while carrying a pain I was still learning to live with.
2012 marked the beginning of my journey into digital art, a journey born from experimentation, personal loss and the need to find a new language through which to express myself.
