2014 | THE YEAR OF ARTISTIC AWAKENING

2014 was one of the most painful years of my life. In September, after a long four-year illness, I lost my beloved mother. This profound loss deeply affected me and became a powerful force behind an intense period of artistic creation.

My artworks began to reflect a complex range of emotions: resentment, a profound sense of injustice and a grief that was difficult to put into words. Yet, beyond the pain, art also became a way for me to preserve a spiritual connection with my mother. Through my creations, I continued to express what I felt, as though I could still communicate with her beyond

her physical absence.

This period marked a turning point in my artistic journey. I became more conscious of why I needed to create and of what I wanted my art to represent. It was no longer simply a matter of exploring techniques or experimenting with digital imagery. Art became a way to face my sorrow, give shape to the emotions I carried within me and find a reason to continue.

I began to understand that I wanted to leave something meaningful behind in this world: a trace of my existence, a fragment of my soul preserved through my work. My wounds were profound, and something within me had changed forever, but creation offered me a way to transform that pain into something that could

endure beyond myself.

2014 became the year of my artistic awakening, the moment when art evolved from a creative passion into a deeply personal need to express, to remember and to leave a lasting mark on this world.
