About Me

Hello and welcome! I'm Carmen, Holistic Food Coach & Reiki Practitioner based in Melbourne, Australia.


Since my teenage years, I've explored Eastern philosophy and how to integrate it with my Western upbringing, and the typical Aussie lifestyle.


My 'previous life' involved a career in the travel industry. Following an illness, I've been on a quest to live a healthier lifestyle through healthy eating and Reiki, adding to my existing practice of yoga and meditation. I recognize the importance of emotional wellbeing and I integrate mindful strategies and tools into my coaching practice.


I encourage meditation practice for everyone. Meditation has long-term benefits - we begin to learn how to better control and understand our own thoughts and emotions. The relationship with spirit, earth, the elements, our bodies, our emotions, our energies - all of these are interconnected.


So, how can you apply meditation into your daily routine? The best way is gradually - start with 5-10 minutes per day. A great option is to try guided meditation. Guided meditation means that you’ll be following a set of verbal (spoken) instructions. If you're a visual person, then guided visualization meditation can be great as you'll be guided to imagine pleasant visual scenes in your mind.
