About Me

Jon Praker is a writer and independent philosopher whose work focuses on discipline, recovery, responsibility, and rebuilding a life after collapse.

By day, he works as a small-engine repair technician—fixing what most people discard. By necessity, he learned to apply the same mindset to people, systems, and himself. His writing emerged from lived consequences rather than theory: addiction, incarceration, loss, homelessness, and the long, unspectacular work of starting over without pretending the past didn’t happen.

Praker is the author of He Who Walks the Nothing and the creator of The 24 Hard Lines, a framework of principles forged through failure rather than aspiration. His work rejects motivational shortcuts and false optimism in favor of clarity, restraint, and earned confidence. These books are not about becoming someone new. They are about standing upright as who you already are—without excuses.

His writing blends philosophy, psychological realism, and symbolic storytelling. It is direct, unsentimental, and written for readers who are done being talked down to. There is no promise of salvation here—only orientation, standards, and a way forward that holds under pressure.

This store exists for one reason: to make the work available without dilution. If you’re looking for quick fixes or inspiration without cost, this is not for you. If you’re rebuilding something—yourself, your discipline, your meaning—you’re in the right place.
