Sofía Torres Durán is a cellist and composer. Through her works, she seeks to expand the language of the cello, revealing the instrument’s wide spectrum of colours and emotions — from its lyrical and intimate voice to its more powerful, raw and energetic character — while creating a connection with today’s audiences.
