SOOTHING ENERGY!
As the temperatures rise and winter citrus still pops off, I wanted to create a soothing, yet energizing lemonade to sip on for a much deserved gardening break.
Here's what you'll need:
2 cups of purified water
1/2 cup of lemon juice (~5-6 lemons)
2 tbsp of chamomile syrup (recipe below)
1 tsp of spirulina or chlorella
Optional garnish- lemon slices & fresh chamomile flower <3
How to:
- Do any prep i.e. squeezing lemons/making chamomile syrup
- Combine ingredients into a blender & pour over ice
- Enjoy <3
Benefits:
Spirulina helps to boost energy & decrease fatigue. This happens because it's packed with B complex , which works to turn food into energy, also supporting metabolism! Spirulina is rich in iron which helps blood circulation & oxygen transportation. All this works to naturally energize & regulate hormones!
Chamomile helps ease the body and mind with soothing effects and helps your digestion, immunity, and inflammation. It is a great choice for menstrual cramps, indigestion, tummy aches, and immune support.
Lemon is packed with Vitamin C which helps with iron absorption, immune support, and aides in healthy bright skin. Lemon is also a digestive friend!
