Can I Develop the Traits of an Athlete?

When you look at an athlete, you often see certain key features. Those key features and traits can be noticed in order of attractiveness. Whether you want it or not, your eyes are drawn to the features you value most or the exceptional ones that stick out. After your first glance, thoughts start forming in your head, and feelings will quickly follow. Depending on many factors, and I will touch on a few here, you decide what feelings you allow to dominate: amazement, envy, encouragement, resentment, wonder, etc.

The difference in feelings after comparing with others comes from your self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-worth. If you have self-confidence and good self-esteem in relation to your self-love, you can compare yourself positively with others.

To emulate what we see, we need a trigger that stimulates action. We can be motivated, inspired, or otherwise emotionally aroused.

But in general, being inspired comes from the inside, like a burning desire. When you talk about internal motivation, it is easily mixed up with being inspired.

It helps to set goals and succeed with a strong sense of motivation and a good dose of self-discipline. This is a way to put your traits into action.

It helps if you are generally optimistic about yourself and your worldview.

When you know when to be humble, you willingly can take criticism. The ego does not have much value while practicing being humble. When you can be humble, you are able to be vulnerable. Being vulnerable is what makes you able to learn from your losses in life. The setbacks you can learn from are necessary to reach the top of your game.

Being relentless and resilient is what gets you there, no matter what. It also gives you the willingness to fight for your dreams.

Now, with all these traits, and you acquire an iron focus, you can’t be stopped. If you treat yourself as a professional, you’ll be noticed and seen by others as a professional.

You are already exceptional; now, grow these traits by creating systems that form your routines.
