You might know the answer to this one.
First of all, we need fat. It is your friend. But as it goes with everything in life, too much of anything isn’t good. “What about too much money?” Good point!
The fastest way to lose weight might be to use a sword, but that is probably not the outcome you desire.
I also say this on purpose because if you think about the fastest way, you might want to consider the most sustainable way.
l came to understand that losing weight or dieting has 10% to do with diet, 10% with exercising, and 80% with psychology. Amazing right?
Understand that ‘exercising’ alone is not the answer. That would be too easy if it were.
Have you ever tried to eat salmon with broccoli every day? Probably not. Not that you can’t, but your mind/body will fight you on that one. Did you ever set good intentions at the beginning of the year? Your New Year’s Resolution? How hard was it to keep that going? Have you ever tried to go to bed at 9 pm every day for five years? Good luck. You quickly understand how life gets in the way and how quickly you are being sidetracked. This is the same for your food intake.
Your mind is very resilient to its status quo. To what it is used to.
I find that the best way to lose weight is to be your perfect weight. Who are you? Do you consider yourself an overindulging person? A person who goes with the flow? Who likes to party? Who doesn’t have clear boundaries or principles? Who are you? What do you tell yourself? Who are you when no one is watching? Who are you when you are struggling? What words do you use for yourself? See where I am going?
When all that is known. I mean knowing and being aware of. This is where you can change little things at the time.
The next question is: What do you like to eat? To snack? To bite in? And at what time?
