I am Thibaud Lepan. Steady Pitch started because I wanted to know whether I was singing in tune, and I did not trust the answer any of the apps were giving me.

So the pitch detector here is measured rather than claimed. It reads eight known tones to within a tenth of a cent, on a voice and on a pure sine, and the measurement is published next to the code so you can run it yourself. Where it stops working, below 65 Hz, it tells you instead of guessing.
