Governance Architect | Citadel S. Systems
Responsibility never felt recreational to me. It was a public consequence from the start.
Growing up as the coach’s son, I wore #1 because I was expected to lead the field under a level of scrutiny most don’t encounter until adulthood. That pressure was my first teacher. It taught me that talent is a blessing, but without a system to hold it, talent is just a faster way to burn out.
My transition into the "Executive" world didn't begin in an office; it began at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina.
While starting on the football team, I served as a First Sergeant within the Corps of Cadets. My weeks were spent in "State of the Union" briefings with Institutional Command, navigating the same high-stakes decision architecture that governs military operations. I was the bridge between the field and the command — the point where performance meets governance.
From the ACC to the B10, across Wake Forest, UTSA, Ohio Dominican and Northwestern, I saw the same recurring fracture: High-performers are often the biggest bottlenecks in their own systems.
When the jersey comes off, most athletes are left to figure it out.
They try to run "Executive" plays with "Athlete" rules. I watched this lead to private failures in my own circles — families fractured, dignity lost, and leaders becoming reactive instead of proactive.
I’ve spent my career in environments of intense competition — from Enterprise Holdings to Mayweather Boxing + Fitness. I’ve watched Department Managers and Founders buckle under "Structure Lag" — the gap between how fast they want to grow and how much weight their current system can actually hold.
I founded Citadel S. Systems because I believe leadership shouldn't feel like carrying the weight of a stadium.
Citadel S. Systems represents the evolution of "coaching" and "development."
This is Leadership Preservation.
I help Enterprises, Founders, Executives, and transitioning Athletes build Governance Architecture — the structural layer that binds an organization and absorbs pressure — so leaders do not carry it alone.
My mission is to ensure that your foundation and systems are stable; empowering leadership and igniting growth at scale.
I am a Steward of Stability. I'll name the season, explain the condition, and design the support to sustain it.
