Handmade & Custom Orders

All items from The Cozy Stitch Co. are handmade. Because each piece is stitched by hand, slight variations may occur. These little differences are part of what makes each keepsake unique.

For personalized items, please double-check all names, dates, ages, and other information before submitting your order. Items will be created using the information you provide.

Turnaround Time

Custom orders are handmade and require time to complete.

My current turnaround time is approximately 5-7 days after all required materials and information have been received.

For photo silhouette orders, turnaround time begins once I have received an acceptable photo and all personalization information.

For birth blanket keepsakes, turnaround time begins once the blanket has been received by The Cozy Stitch Co.

Turnaround time does not include shipping/transit time.

Birth Blanket Keepsakes

Customers purchasing a Birth Blanket Keepsake are responsible for mailing or delivering their blanket to The Cozy Stitch Co.

Please understand that your blanket will be cut in order to fit and secure the fabric inside the embroidery hoop. The blanket cannot be returned to its original condition after it has been cut.

Because birth blankets can have sentimental value, I strongly recommend using a shipping method that includes tracking when mailing your blanket to me.

The Cozy Stitch Co. is not responsible for packages that are lost, damaged, or delayed while being shipped to me.

Please do not send an irreplaceable item unless you are comfortable with the risks associated with mailing it and having the fabric permanently altered.

Photo Silhouette Orders

Customers are responsible for submitting a clear photo suitable for creating their silhouette.

The finished embroidery is a simplified, hand-stitched interpretation of the photograph and may not reproduce every small detail.

If the submitted photo cannot be used, I may contact you and request another photo before beginning your order.

Cancellations

Because these items are personalized, cancellations are only accepted before work has begun on your order.

Once stitching, designing, tracing, cutting, or other customization has begun, the order cannot be canceled.

Returns & Refunds

Due to the personalized and handmade nature of my products, custom orders are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged simply because of a change of mind.

However, I want you to be happy with your order. If your item arrives damaged or I made an error with the personalization, please contact me within 3 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging so I can review the issue and work with you on an appropriate resolution.

Shipping

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

Once a completed order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery times are outside of my direct control.

If a package is returned to me because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided, the customer may be responsible for additional postage before the order can be shipped again.

Customer-Provided Information

Please carefully review all personalization information before submitting your order.

The Cozy Stitch Co. is not responsible for errors resulting from information submitted incorrectly by the customer, including misspelled names or incorrect dates, ages, times, weights, or other personalization details.

Communication

Please provide an email address that you check regularly when placing your order. I may need to contact you regarding your photo, blanket, personalization, or another detail before I can begin your piece.

Delays in receiving required information may extend the turnaround time.
