Lauren has perfected the art of persuasive speaking, and she does so with such grace. As a local school board member and board member of the Ohio School Board Constitutional Coalition, I personally support Lauren's efforts to help create speeches for others that have sound rationale behind them. I hear many people speak from all different angles during public commentary, but the ones who are the most effective are those who have strong research behind them. Lauren takes the time to educate herself on all controversial issues prior to forming her opinion, which is evident in her persuasive speeches. Her speeches are well prepared and factually sound, which is so important when speaking on controversial issues.

I met Lauren about nine months ago here in Mentor, Ohio. We were organizing a group named Concerned Mentor Taxpayers. Our concerns centered around the ideology and accepted behavior that was occurring in our local school district, as well as the outrageous amount of taxpayer dollars being spent on what was then commonly referred to as CRT. As it happened across our country, the Covid pandemic began to make the schools' antics and beliefs much more transparent to the community.

Lauren arrived in Mentor from Oregon. She saw first hand exactly where our public schools were headed. She brought real life experience as well as first rate speaking skills to our community. Lauren was a busy working mother here in Mentor. However, if you gave her a topic or situation that was happening in our schools, she went to town. She researched, found corresponding court cases, made connections to our local problems that were happening across the nation, and then wrote and delivered beautiful, concise, accurate facts to argue within the 3 minute time constraints at our board meetings. Watching Lauren put her amazing research skills together with her authoritative and outstanding verbal skills was almost exhilarating. She is an educated, well informed and unique "Mama Bear" who is a staunch supporter of children and parents.

Concerned Mentor Taxpayers, the entire Mentor community and I were terribly sad to see Lauren move on to her new community. Our loss, however, is your gain. I highly recommend Lauren Breslin as a brilliant and successful advocate for parental rights and children's safety.
