About The Author
Tolly Moses is a builder, entrepreneur, and thought producer whose work explores the relationship between human potential, leadership, systems, creativity, and nation-building.
His journey did not begin with a conventional path into leadership or nation-building. His experiences with work, skilled craftsmanship, entrepreneurship, technology, and the realities of everyday life gradually shaped the way he sees problems — not simply as difficulties, but as opportunities to ask:
What can be built differently?
The idea for Born To Build Beyond Borders emerged during a deeply reflective period following the death of his father. The experience of being unable to provide the support he wished he could provide while his father was sick led Tolly to think more deeply about capacity, opportunity, responsibility, leadership, and the value people can create during their lifetime.
What began as an intention to write a book gradually became something larger.
He began developing ideas around how people, skills, institutions, technology, infrastructure, creativity, and resources could be better connected to address problems and strengthen communities and nations.
That thinking eventually became the foundation of Born To Build Beyond Borders.
Tolly's philosophy is simple:
A gift is only the beginning. It must be discovered, developed, and put to work.
Through his broader vision for the Global Builders Assembly (GBA), he continues to explore ways of connecting builders, professionals, institutions, and problem-solvers around practical challenges facing society.
His work is ultimately centered on one belief:
The future is not something we simply inherit. It is something we have a responsibility to build.
