A little about me...

Hello my name is Tracey Kissoon and I live in the Cotswolds, UK where I have my own thriving physiotherapy practice. I combine my love of biomechanics and muscle imbalance with Chinese medicine, reflexology and intuition. I am excited to blend in my newly acquired knowledge (I recently finished my MSc at Keele University) and my experience in pain physiology to support my clients even more.

I’m opening up a new activity in my business, going online, to specialise in supporting clients in chronic pain conditions, teaching them how to rewire their nervous system. For that too, I use a fusion of science and spiritual practices.

When doing none of that… I can be found tending my scruffy but sacred allotment where miracles unfold on a daily basis, as well as cooking, creating mixed media art and scrap journals or making flavoured gins with some of my produce.

I have been a chartered Physiotherapist for over 30 years and have always understood that the body is not separate from the mind neither the soul. I didn’t require proof it was just a deep knowing. I then have several opportunities to prove this by having the courage to openly work this way. This might sound rather dramatic but coming from large busy departments in London within the NHS its not. Emotions and stress and any discussion of them was tantamount to some kind of treason. If the patient were struggling with either they really needed to work harder at their prescribed exercises or go and see a psychiatrist or psychologist!

Luckily for me I railed against it and learnt Chinese medicine using acupuncture ad reflexology both of which I used together with my standard stuff….chronic pain patients got better, people laughed like they had not in years, repressed emotions became expressed…in short it was a wonderful experience for all concerned (mostly)

What I do

I invite people to partner with me to reconcile with their bodies to explore the deeper meaning of their long-standing symptoms (pain) in trust with an open mind while taking radical responsibility for their healing journey.
