About Me

Why I Write

I often find myself looking at my children and thinking about the things I hope they learn earlier than I did.

I write because so much of what shapes our lives begins quietly, with the beliefs we form about ourselves: what we think is possible, how we respond when things are difficult, and whether we have the confidence to keep moving forward.

My own interest in mindset and personal development grew much later in life. The more I learned, the more I wondered what might happen if children were introduced to some of these ideas earlier. Not through lectures, but through stories, conversations and everyday moments they could understand.

That became the inspiration for my children’s books. They explore imagination, gratitude, confidence, courage, curiosity, resilience and the extraordinary potential of the mind. They are not meant to replace what parents, grandparents, teachers and caregivers already teach. They are meant to support it: to start conversations and plant positive seeds early.

My books for adults come from the same place. They explore the lessons and beliefs I came to later in my own journey, with the hope of helping readers question limits, take action and create more of the life they want.

Across both, the idea is simple: learn early what I learned late.

About M.C. Warren

M.C. Warren is an author, father, former corporate leader and longtime student of personal development, mindset and human potential.

After more than twenty-five years of leading, coaching and developing people in the corporate world, he began writing books inspired by a question that became increasingly important to him as a parent: what are the lessons we can help children learn early that many adults only discover much later?

His children’s books use relatable stories to introduce ideas around imagination, gratitude, confidence, courage, curiosity, resilience and positive, non-limiting beliefs. His picture book Good Morning, Hello. Good Night, Sweet Dreams is a Mom’s Choice Awards® Gold Recipient. His adult books explore many of the same themes through personal responsibility, growth, goals and meaningful change.

At the heart of his writing is a belief that the stories we repeatedly tell ourselves can influence what we attempt, what we persist through and what we ultimately believe is possible.

His hope is to make those ideas accessible, whether the reader is a child beginning to discover what may be possible or an adult deciding that it is not too late to begin again.
