Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Transformational Reads (M.C. Warren) collects when you visit transformationalreads.com or buy from my store, and how it’s used. I keep it as simple as I can, and I never sell your information.
What I collect
- When you buy: your name, email address and country, so your download can be delivered and your receipt sent. Payments are handled by Stripe or PayPal. I never see or store your card details.
- When you join my newsletter: your email address, used only to send book news and updates. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- When you email me: your name, email address and whatever you choose to share, used only to reply.
- When you browse: general information such as the pages you visit, your device type and roughly where you are (country or city). This comes from cookies (see below).
Who helps me run the store
These services handle information on my behalf, each under its own privacy policy:
- Hostinger hosts this website and the newsletter sign-up.
- Payhip runs the checkout and delivers your downloads.
- Stripe and PayPal process payments.
- Google Analytics shows me how visitors use the site.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) helps me measure and improve my ads.
Paperbacks are sold on Amazon. When you follow a link to Amazon, Amazon’s privacy policy applies.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site uses them to keep the site working, to understand how visitors use it (Google Analytics), and to measure my ads (Meta Pixel). You can accept or decline analytics and marketing cookies using the banner when you first visit, and you can clear cookies in your browser at any time.
Children
My children’s books are written for kids, but this website and store are meant for parents, grandparents, teachers and other adults. I don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has given me information, email me and I’ll delete it.
How long I keep it
Order records are kept as long as needed for tax and accounting purposes. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Emails you send me are kept only as long as needed to help you.
Where it’s stored
Some of these services store information outside Canada, including in the United States and the European Union, where local laws apply.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you, or unsubscribe at any time. Email mcwarren.author@gmail.com and I’ll respond within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, I’ll update the date at the top of this page.
