W.J. Savage is the author of Trash-Brand Billy's "Totally True Tale" of Teenage Tribulations, Vol. 1, 1990. The Outsiders, This Boy's Life, and Andy Kaufman Revealed! are a few of his favorite books.

Fun fact: avoiding fast food and sugary sodas, W.J. Savage champions a healthy lifestyle. His favorite treats, however, include chocolate peanut butter banana milkshakes and a heavy-metal-themed cheeseburger called the "Plague Bringer."

Currently, W.J. Savage lives on Chicago's North Side with his cat Mrs. Elizabeth.
