Digital STL & 3MF Products: Refund and Printing Policy

ALL DIGITAL FILE SALES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE, EXCEPT AS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
1. Digital Product Refund Policy
All STL, 3MF, and associated digital product files are electronically delivered products. Due to their digital nature, purchases are considered final once the files have been made available for download.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges will not be provided for buyer's remorse, lack of printing experience, equipment incompatibility, unsuccessful print attempts, or failure to review the product description and requirements before purchase.
This policy does not limit any non-waivable consumer rights. If a purchased file is missing, corrupted, materially different from its description, or otherwise defective, please contact the seller for assistance.
2. Software and Printer Compatibility
All STL files are designed for preparation and slicing using Bambu Studio.
Where provided, accompanying 3MF project files are specifically prepared for use with the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon (X1C) 3D printer.
The buyer is responsible for verifying software compatibility, printer capabilities, build-volume limitations, and filament requirements before purchase.
Successful printing on other printer models or with modified slicing configurations is not guaranteed.
3. Original Model Dimensions and Scaling
All lithophane models are designed for printing at the exact dimensions stated in their respective product listings.
Lithophanes depend on carefully designed material thickness, geometry, and light transmission to produce their intended visual results.
Enlarging, shrinking, stretching, or otherwise modifying the original model dimensions may result in:
- Loss of image detail and clarity
- Reduced contrast and poor lighting effects
- Distorted images or uneven material thickness
- Structural weaknesses or print failures
The seller does not guarantee print quality or provide refunds for results caused by modifications to the original model dimensions.
4. Printing Time and Buyer Preparation
HIGH-QUALITY LITHOPHANE LAMPSHADES MAY REQUIRE MULTIPLE DAYS OF CONTINUOUS PRINTING.
The buyer acknowledges that large, detailed 3D prints require significant printing time, proper equipment preparation, sufficient materials, and patience.
Before beginning a print, the buyer is responsible for:
- Reviewing the estimated printing time and material consumption in Bambu Studio.
- Ensuring that sufficient filament is available to complete the entire project.
- Planning to use sufficient filament of the same color and brand for consistent lithophane appearance.
- Properly preparing, maintaining, and calibrating the 3D printer.
- Accounting for possible power interruptions and other environmental or equipment-related issues.
- Understanding the risks associated with long-duration 3D printing.
5. Failed Prints and Material Loss
Unsuccessful prints resulting from circumstances beyond the seller's control are not grounds for refunds.
These circumstances include, but are not limited to:
- Electrical outages or interruptions
- Filament shortages or incorrect filament selection
- Printer jams, mechanical malfunctions, or equipment failure
- Improper bed adhesion or printer calibration
- Incorrect slicer settings or unauthorized model changes
- User error, inadequate preparation, or insufficient printing experience
- Abandoned, interrupted, or otherwise unsuccessful long-duration printing projects
The seller is not responsible for replacement filament, wasted printing materials, electricity costs, equipment damage, or time invested in failed printing attempts, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
6. Buyer Acknowledgment
By completing a purchase, the buyer acknowledges that:
The purchase is for digital design files, not a completed physical product.
The buyer is responsible for understanding the product description, stated dimensions, printing requirements, estimated printing duration, and limitations of their own equipment.
The seller provides digital design files and does not guarantee that every buyer will successfully manufacture the intended physical product.
Patience, adequate preparation, proper equipment operation, and sufficient printing materials are essential to successful lithophane printing.
7. Customer Assistance and Exceptions
If a downloaded file is missing, corrupted, or appears to contain an original design defect, please contact Unfading Impressions by Lone Wolf Creations with a description of the problem.
Where appropriate, the seller may provide technical clarification, a corrected file, or another suitable resolution.
Nothing in this policy excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
