Welcome! I’m Courtney Bowers, an Ed.D. candidate at the University of Memphis, set to graduate in 2026. With over 16 years of experience in education, I’m a passionate educator, researcher, and author dedicated to advancing literacy through the meaningful integration of educational technology.

Currently, I teach Life and Physical Science, where I blend innovation and inquiry to spark curiosity in the next generation of thinkers. My doctoral work focuses on transforming literacy instruction across content areas by leveraging digital tools that empower both teachers and students.

As a devoted mom to an amazing son, I understand the importance of nurturing both academic success and personal growth. Whether in the classroom, at home, or in my research, I’m committed to building bridges that connect knowledge, technology, and human potential.
