Laura Sweet is a creator, designer and writer based in Cornwall in the UK. She has lived with alopecia for over 35 years, 15 years with total hair loss. Her journey through the years has been emotional, heart-breaking and transformative. She is now sharing her extensive experience and providing support with anyone who needs it.

Trained originally as an illustrator and designer with a BA (Hons), She then spent over 30 years working in national and global organisations, from Xerox Global Services to The Met Office and the NHS in a variety of business-based roles. She has also retrained in the holistic 'Bowen Technique' therapy and has a private clinic at her home in Cornwall.

With this skill set she has written and developed a community support programme for women living with hair loss and alopecia through Unrooted to Unbroken. She founded the Unrooted to Unbroken support programme to give women what she found hardest to come by, a guide and framework to support her through the hardest days and somewhere to put the feelings down. And a community online to support each other, plus in person retreats and events coming soon.
