About Me

I'm the voice behind xoeko, a healing space I built for the ones who are carrying more than they show.

I've been there. The fear that wouldn't quiet down. The version of yourself you kept postponing. The weight of things you never asked to carry.

Everything I create, the journals, the affirmations, the words, comes from that place. The in-between. The part of the journey that isn't healed yet, but isn't broken anymore either.

You showing up here means something. I don't take that lightly.

— with love, xoeko

Finding pockets of joy in the thickness of grief - May 2, 2026
It has only been 26 days since my mother passed. And yesterday, I sat at my sister’s baby shower. Those two sentences should not be able to exist in the same breath. But grief does not wait for convenient timing. It does not step aside for balloons ...

I Acknowledge That I Am Not Okay
And I may never be okay. And I am learning that is allowed. I acknowledge that I am not okay. I may never be okay — not in the way I was before. Not in the way I thought okay was supposed to look. And I am learning, slowly and painfully, that maybe ...

I Let Fear Run My Life — Here's How I Started Taking It Back
This is the post I was afraid to write. Which is exactly why I'm writing it. Fear, for me, has never looked like a monster under the bed. It doesn't show up loudly. It shows up quietly, in the moment right before I'm about to go for something. It so...
