About Me

Yudania Gómez Heredia (*Santa Clara, Cuba, 1994) is a composer, orchestral and choral conductor, and organist with international recognition. Born and musically trained in Cuba, she has been living in Germany since 2015, where she continues her studies and develops her artistic career.

Through her studies in sacred music at the University of Catholic Church Music and Music Education in Regensburg, Yudania deepened her engagement with the liturgical repertoire and Gregorian chant—an influence that is clearly reflected in her musical language, combined with elements of Afro-Cuban music and jazz.

Her catalogue includes numerous compositions for choir—particularly for women’s choir—as well as chamber music, works for piano and voice, solo piano pieces, organ works, and compositions for choir, soloists, and orchestra, such as her Afro-Cuban Mass.
