MIXING ELECTRONIC DANCE MUSIC
The purpose of mixing is to balance all the basic elements of your track such as Drums, Bass, Leads, Vocals, and Fx’s for sounding clear inside the track mixdown as well as possible. We apply simple and special mixing techniques where necessary to ensure that your track will be ready for the final stage of mastering.
MASTERING ELECTRONIC DANCE MUSIC
Mastering is the last step of audio recording production. The purpose of mastering is to deliver a fully balanced stereo mix and optimize playback across all systems and media formats. The mastering engineer is paying attention to EQ and to level and dynamics presentation.
TRACK MASTERING
We can provide professional mastering for your track. We work on your track to apply the right amount of loudness, mid/side eqing and compression needed to make your track stand out from other commercial releases.
STEMS MASTERING
We can provide professional stem mastering for your track. Send us your finished, unmastered track bounced down to six individual stems, Kick, Sub Bass, Drums, Mid Bass, Synths, Fx, and we will mix them down to ensure that everything sits tightly in your mix. Then we will add all the right plugins and techniques for a powerful, balanced, and highly polished track.
- Stereo Mixing
Our mixing service employs personalized ambisonics and psychoacoustic methodologies. These techniques are harnessed to create a sense of dimension along the X, Y, and Z axes within a solitary stereo file, enhancing spatiality and clarity for ventures encompassing up to 24 stereo (or mono) channels.
- Stereo Mastering
To get the best possible results provide at least 24bit 44.1khz wav/aiff file/s with around -6db of headroom with no limiting or clipping applied on the master.
No extra charge for two different edits (for example Extended and Radio Edit) if the mixes are identical and can be run through exactly same mastering settings.
Our mastering solution incorporates ambisonics and psychoacoustic. These techniques are applied to accentuate the X, Y, and Z dimensions within a solitary stereo file, all the while preserving the original stereo mix's transients and dynamics, meticulously aligned with the Loudness Unit levels adhering to our industry benchmarks.
- Stem Mixing & Mastering
For services up to 8 stems and 16 stems you can group your channels. Kick and bassline should be separate ones, rest could be grouped as follows, percussions, hihats, synths, pads, effects, vocals, send/bus effects and so forth.
For unlimited stem service you can send all the channels separately.
Audio should be delivered at least as 24bit 44.1khz wav/aiff files.
You can also provide your own mixdown as reference as well as any other song for reference.

TECHNICAL
- What is bit depth ?
Bit depth in audio refers to the number of bits used to represent the amplitude of each sample in a digital audio file. In other words, it determines the resolution of the audio signal.The bit depth is usually expressed in bits per sample, and common values are 16 bits, 24 bits, and 32 bits. The higher the bit depth, the greater the dynamic range of the audio signal and the more accurately it can be represented.
For example, with a bit depth of 16 bits, the audio signal can be represented by 65,536 discrete amplitude levels, while with a bit depth of 24 bits, the audio signal can be represented by 16,777,216 discrete amplitude levels.
Having a higher bit depth can lead to a higher signal-to-noise ratio and less distortion in the audio signal.
- What is sample rate ?
Sample rate, also known as sampling rate, is another important parameter that describes digital audio. It refers to the number of samples of an analog audio signal that are taken per second to create a digital representation of the signal.
The sample rate is usually expressed in Hertz (Hz), and common values are 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, and 96 kHz. The higher the sample rate, the more accurately the digital representation can capture the nuances of the original analog signal.
For example, a sample rate of 44.1 kHz means that the analog audio signal is sampled 44,100 times per second, while a sample rate of 96 kHz means that the analog audio signal is sampled 96,000 times per second.
A higher sample rate can provide a greater frequency response and better fidelity to the original sound
- Headroom in audio ?
Headroom in audio refers to the amount of available space between the maximum level of the audio signal and the maximum level that a system can handle without distortion or clipping.
