Before (Short Story)

BEFORE is the prologue for THE DECISIONS WE MAKE.

It tells the story of when Sam's life was upended... the first time. BEFORE is set in Sydney, but THE DECISIONS WE MAKE is a women's fiction, set on the east coast of Tasmania, Australia. It's a small town setting with a strong community feel. Not to mention the lifelong friendship Sam has with Brooke.

Sam Miller was sixteen when her life turned upside down. And here she was, thinking everything had changed three years before, when her brother Paul had died. This morning, things felt… normal. But nothing could prepare her for what was to come.
