The Holiday is one of my favourite Christmas movies. Unfortunately my English country house is actually cold, so I need something a bit more substantial than Amanda did!

Yarn: fingering + fingering + lace, 325-410 yards (160-205 metres)
Needles: 3.5mm
Sizing: Four adult sizes, to fit 20-25" (50-72.5cm)
Techniques: cast on (long tail); bind off (sewn hat); knitting in the round; lace; yarn held tripe; folded hem
