The Heart of God

When I look back over my life and the prayers I prayed, I felt as if God sometimes wasn’t there.  My prayers weren’t ever being answered.  “God, why have you forgotten me?  I know I’m not perfect, but you don’t have to leave me like this and just let me go through.  God, why have you forsaken me.”

As I grew older, I realized God never left me. I was the one who left me and left him.  Through prayers, I am made whole.  I’m always at the heart of God and his answers to my prayers soothe my soul.
