This is print #1 of an open edition — a hand-printed silver gelatin photograph of Beatriz, shot in Lisbon in May 2025.

Midday sun. A whitewashed wall. Eyes closed, head back, completely surrendered to the light and the moment. The harness traces her tattooed skin like a second drawing — straps and ink competing for the same territory. She isn't posing for the camera. She's absorbing everything the city has to give.

Every print in this edition is made by hand in my own darkroom, on Ilford Baryta — a premium fibre-based paper prized for its extraordinary tonal depth, crisp detail, and long-term archival stability. This is not a digital reproduction. It's a print made with light, chemistry, and time.
