Partnership shawl

This is a partnership between two yarns, where both are allowed to shine without stealing the spotlight from each other. 

The samples are knitted in yarn from It’s A Stitch Up and West Green Loft Yarn, both 365m/100g merino and merino/nylon blends.

Languages: English and Swedish

Yarn: 4-ply (fingering) yarn in merino or merino/nylon blend, approx. 365-420m/100g. 300-350m needed for each of Yarn A and Yarn B. 

Needle: 3.5-3.75 mm (US5) circular needles, or needles to get gauge

Gauge: 23 sts / 10 cm unblocked, 22 sts/10cm blocked. It’s not crucial to get exact gauge, but a looser gauge may result in a game of yarn chicken towards the last stripe. 

Notions: stitch marker, optional extra needle for the cast on, scrap yarn for cast on.

Size: approx 193 cm/76” wingspan, 56 cm /22” at the widest point.

Note: If your gauge is looser than the one stated, it's possible that you might run short on yarn as the pattern uses up most of the skeins.
