Volume of Cones Riddle Activity | Radius and Diameter Practice
Practice finding the volume of cones with this Volume of Cones Riddle Activity. Students solve cone volume problems using a mix of radius and diameter values, then use their answers to complete the riddle.
This activity includes 12 volume of cone problems. Students will practice identifying the needed measurements, using the cone volume formula, and paying close attention to whether they are given the radius or diameter.
The riddle format gives students a built-in way to check their work. If answers are incorrect, the riddle will not work correctly, helping students catch mistakes as they solve.
