This pattern is available as a Pay What You Want format. Creating video walkthroughs and pattern series like this takes time and effort - and I'm happy to offer it! If you'd like to toss a coin my way, I so, so very much appreciate it, but I know that during this very stressful time not everyone can afford to. Thank you so much for your contribution & love!
.......................................................................
Fall means beautiful colors, crisp air, crunchy leaves, sweaters… and of course, decorating everything with tiny handknit pumpkins.
These little pumpkins are knit as a tube, then separated out for sewing up. Easily sized up, sized down, or with different stitch patterns – customize them however you like!
Materials
· Approximately 50 yds of main color (pumpkin color), worsted weight yarn
· Approximately 15 yds of coordinating color (stem color), worsted weight yarn
· US5 (3.75mm) circular needles or DPNs
· Small amount of stuffing
· Tapestry needles
Gauge
· Not important – you want a thick, dense fabric so that no stuffing pops through.
Sizing
· ¾” tall by 2” in diameter
Techniques
· Knitting in the round
· Using waste yarn to separate sections
· I-cord
