A wrap is one of the most useful layering pieces as it can be worn as a wrap around the shoulders, or like a scarf. This shawl has an extra special place in my heart as I wore it on my wedding day!
Sighyn is knitted flat, on the diagonal, so all rows are the same number of stitches. The lace pattern is charted as well as written out.
The pattern can be adjusted to be wider, narrower, shorter or longer very easily. Instructions on how to adjust are given in the pattern.
Needles: 3.75 mm (optional 4mm for cast on)
Yarn: It’s A Stitch Up Favourite sock in Dancer in the Dark, 100% merino 365m/100g, 3 skeins
Gauge (unblocked): 24sts/10cm in stocking stitch
Notions: 9 stitch markers
Finished measurements: 58cm wide, long side 190 cm, total length 240cm
