Birdie Cowl
Waste not want not...
I recently knitted an other set of my Birdie hat and mittens pattern, inspired by one of my great aunts. I was using a lovely DK yarn in 100g skeins and had quite a bit of the second skein left. So as I loved the yarn and the stitch pattern I designed a cowl to go with the original set using the remaining yarn.
This cowl is knitted flat from a crocheted provisional cast on and then grafted into a loop using Kitchener stitch.
You can find the Birdie Hat and Mittens pattern in my pattern store.
