Waistcoat-inspired Under-bust Corset Pattern

PATTERN! This is an 8-panel under-bust pattern with straps modelled on a typical waistcoat design; low front, a high back and a gentle reduction to accentuate your waist. Sizes (UK) 8 -28 (US 4 - 24) - waist sizes 23''-43''. A good beginners design - only 4 panels per side. Includes a 25 page manual of construction notes!
Note – a 2’’ back gap is factored into this pattern to allow for the shoulder straps to be positioned correctly. The corset is inspired by waistcoat designs.
The corset length measures 22cm at the centre front (31cm to the lowest points) and 42cm at the centre back. There is a reduction of 2'' at the waist applied to the standard sizes (see photo for measurements).
This pattern is drafted in AutoCAD and available as an instant download - you will need to print out on size letter (A) or A4 paper, making sure 'actual size' and 'centre the print' is ticked in your print dialogue box. Instructions included.
It is recommended that you make a toile to the largest of your measurements to check the fit of the pattern – at this stage you can take in the smaller of your measurements, lengthen or shorten if need be, and transfer these amendments to your pattern to ensure a perfect fitting corset!
