Moses Made Simple
Eighty years old. A shepherd in the wilderness. A man with a past he could not outrun and a future he could not imagine. That was Moses on the day God called him — and that is exactly where God found him.
Moses Made Simple follows the reluctant shepherd from the burning bush to the Red Sea to the mountain of God: the basket in the Nile, forty years of hidden preparation in Midian, the five excuses at the bush, the rod in his hand, the night of the Passover, the sea that stood up like walls, manna in the wilderness, the law on Sinai, the golden calf and the intercessor, and the finish on Mount Nebo (Exodus 3:1-12; Hebrews 11:24-28).
Explicitly Trinitarian: God the Father who sees affliction and comes down to deliver; Jesus Christ — Son of God and Son of Man, Lord and Savior — the great I AM of the burning bush, our Passover Lamb, the greater Moses; and the Holy Spirit, who alone turns a shepherd's rod into the rod of God and sets captives free. Every prayer is to the Father, through Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit. Deliverance comes by the Spirit's power, never by human willpower alone.
Read one chapter a day. Come honest. Read slowly. Take off your shoes.
