Effective English Planning

Many schools tend to have a less structured approach to English planning which as a trainee can be very daunting; however, this planning sequence tells you how to plan your English progressively building on and incorporating a wide range of skills suitable for the unit you are teaching . It is a format which can be adapted for fiction, non-fiction and poetry and can be tailored to each year group (excluding foundation stages). There is also accompanying resources which can be used to expand children's vocabulary and a plan to help the children to structure their writing.
