New teachers are often felt leaving overwhelmed and unprepared at many different points during the year. Our aim is to help eliminate and banish these feelings, whilst replacing them with you feeling prepared and excited to start and flourish in your new career. In this booklet, it will equip you with all the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in your teaching career. It covers basic teaching and learning strategies, differentiation and behaviour management, how to structure your lessons, how to plan effectively (maths and English), exciting ways to deliver your topic work and many other tips and hints which will help you in your mission to become an outstanding teacher. To offer the upmost maximum help to you, it has been written in collaboration with students and current NQTS who have tried to cover every worry and question they themselves have had throughout their early careers.
