A “simmer blink” is a momentary glimpse of sunshine on a dark, cloudy day. This shawl offers more than just a blink of brightness, but it does capture the way green fields and golden sunshine glow against iron grey skies.
Anleitung auch auf Deutsch!

Worked from a starting point in mostly garter stitch, with just a few eyelet bands and a simple lace edging knitted as you go, this is constructed as an asymmetric triangle but ends up as a crescent. (Notes are provided on how to keep the shape more triangular – and longer – if you prefer.) It’s a simple but satisfying project, perfect for social knitting, and a very wearable shawl.

It’s designed to show off a five-mini-skein set plus one solid skein but would also work well in two solids, two gradient yarns, or with more mini-skeins – notes are included on possible adaptations. Charts as well as written instructions are provided.

Thanks to Kate Atherley for tech editing, and to my wonderful testers!
