Inspired by the glow of sunset on city skyscrapers, Concrete Jungle uses strict geometric repetition and a perfect gradient yarn to strong effect.
The stitch pattern is fully reversible, while the skyline shape of each end adds interest to an otherwise simple scarf.
The pattern is written for 700m of lace-weight yarn. Testers have had success in using light fingering, but be aware that because of the skyline ends, changing the width is not straightforward; following the pattern will give you a luxuriously wide scarf and may require more yardage.
One size: approximately 211cm / 83in long x 13in / 33cm wide
Difficulty rating: Intermediate.
Skills used:
Basic lace knitting, from charts or written instructions; backward loop or cable cast-on
You will need:
Bilum Hand Dyed Yarns Muruk (50% silk, 50% yak; 700m / 766 yards per 100g skein): 1 x 100 g skein in Bea
3mm / US2.5 needles
darning needle
