MGCA Architecture Options and Decision Pack
WHO IT IS FOR
Solution and enterprise architects comparing options for a project.
WHEN TO USE IT
Compare viable architectural options against agreed requirements and retain the reasoning behind the selected option.
A three-option weighted appraisal, mandatory feasibility gates, cost assumptions and an editable decision record.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
Editable XLSX workbook with clean working templates and separate fictional worked examples; offline printable HTML guide; text decision record; quick-start instructions and licence terms.
Additional files: Architecture_Decision_Record.txt.
Version 0.1. Digital ZIP download.
SCOPE
Three options are supported. Criteria and scores are editable judgement inputs, not objective certification. There is no automatic architecture recommendation. The pack does not supply solution designs or a financial forecast.
COMPATIBILITY
LibreOffice native recalculation checked on 12 October 2026. Microsoft Excel desktop remains unverified. The unchanged v0.1 guide records the earlier compatibility status. Run the worked example in your intended spreadsheet application before operational use. No macros or external workbook links. No DOCX or PDF documents are supplied.
