KNOWLEDGE AND PRACTICE OF FOOD HYGIENE AMONG FOOD VENDORS IGBINEDION UNIVERSITY OKADA
This study investigated the knowledge and practice of food hygiene among food vendors in Igbinedion Univeristy Okada, Benin City in Edo State of Nigeria. This study was carried out using a descriptive survey. To achieve this overarching objective, the following specific objectives will evaluate the level of food hygiene knowledge among food vendors; assess the food hygiene practices employed by food vendors; determine the association between food safety knowledge level and socio demographic characteristics of food hygiene among food vendors; determine the association between food safety practices level and socio-demographic characteristics of of food hygiene among food vendors; examine the correlation of Knowledge, and Training with the Level of Food Hygienic Practices among food vendors.
