“Moe & Joe” is a comedic visual pamphlet crafted in a hybrid aesthetic of stop-motion animation and Muppets-style puppetry. It portrays a fictional episode of the duo’s vlog, in which two expressive puppet characters—generated with Envato Elements and animated through a blend of stop motion and AI-assisted techniques—deliver a satirical take on the shallow self-help rhetoric commonly found in modern dating culture.

Joe is the outspoken engine of the duo: loud, self-important, and theatrically confident, convinced he embodies the “alpha male” ideal. His bravado mixes comic ignorance with exaggerated self-esteem. Moe, meanwhile, plays the counterweight: quiet, mysterious, and faux-philosophical, delivering minimalist “wise man” lines that parody online relationship gurus. Together, they form an ironic mirror of motivational vlog culture.

As they explain absurd “strategies” for winning a woman’s attention—such as total indifference or completely cutting contact after the first night—their lack of real understanding becomes the main source of humour. The comedy arises from the contrast between their overconfidence and the obvious ridiculousness of their advice.
