Simone Martini Annunciation Virgin panel
The original of Simone Martini’s Annunciation (1331) was created as a sacred conversation across a large panel: the angel approaching from the left, the Virgin receiving the message of redemption for all mankind, on the right.
I'm happy to offer this panel print of the Virgin from that work, that captures the lively elegance of this great masterwork of the Sienese Gothic golden age. Printed on a stable MDF panel, with rich colour and fine detail, it makes a beautiful focal point for a study, prayer corner, or any quiet place in the home.
- Printed to order by a specialty fine art printer, the image is sublimated/fused directly onto the surface; not a mounted paper print.
- 8"x 8" x ½” thick panels.
- The chamfered, smooth-finished black sides give it an elegant look.
- It can go directly on your wall, no need to frame.
- Fade and scratch-resistant.
- The surface can be dusted or even cleaned with a soft damp rag without danger of scratching or harming the image.
