IMPACT OF BANK VERIFICATION NUMBER BVN ON FINANCIAL SECURITY IN NIGERIA BANKS

This research examines the role of the Bank Verification Number (BVN) system in enhancing financial security and reducing fraudulent activities in Nigerian banks. It evaluates how the BVN policy has improved customer identification, data protection, and overall trust in the banking sector. The study also analyzes challenges faced by banks and customers during BVN implementation and recommends strategies for strengthening financial integrity and digital banking security in Nigeria.
