Way too often we find ourselves purchasing yarns with really eccentric and unique colorways, only to find that we don’t have a pattern to really show it off!

The Atiru Shawl is a design that plays with the trendy new arrow shawl shape and the usage of the simple garter stitch in the body makes it a great choice for variegated or eccentric yarns hiding in your stash. Make it as big or as small as you wish, pair up any two colors that you want, and you’ll find your creative side delighted with this huge, swooping shawl!

Needle: US size 6 (4mm) 32” (80cm) or longer circular needle. Long circular needle is recommended in order to accommodate the large number of stitches.

Yardage: 2 Skeins of Ultra Soft Merino Superwash (MC), 1 skein of Ultra Soft Merino Superwash Mini (CC) or 700-900 yards ; 640 - 820 meters in MC, 200-260 yards ; 180 - 240 meters in CC

Gauge: 22 sts and 40 rows = 4 inches / 10 cm in Garter Stitch. Gauge is not crucial to this project but different gauges will affect size and yardage.
