Meet Venesa V. Vaughn

I teach from lived experience, not just a textbook.


My journey into understanding human behaviour did not begin in a classroom. It began in survival.


Growing up in a strict household where emotional safety was not modelled, I spent years living in fight or flight without even realising it. That survival state eventually turned into PTSD, unhealthy coping mechanisms, emotional dysregulation, and a constant feeling of being unsafe in my own body.


At 21, I became obsessed with understanding why people do what they do. I first began studying the brain, human behaviour, behavioural psychology, trauma patterns, and how early experiences shape the way we think, feel, and respond to the world.


The more I learned about the brain, the more I began to notice something deeper. I started making the connection between the brain and the nervous system and realised the two do not work separately. They constantly work together and influence each other.


I began to understand that many people are not simply “overreacting” or “crazy”. Their nervous systems are responding to life based on past experiences, stress, survival patterns, emotional conditioning, and what their brain learned was necessary to stay safe.


I spent the next two decades studying human behaviour, brain development, trauma, nervous system regulation, emotional patterns, and behavioural change. I am a qualified Life Coach and Meditation Instructor, but more importantly, I know what it feels like to carry trauma in your body while still trying to function normally in everyday life.


I wanted to understand people beyond clinical labels and diagnoses. I wanted to understand the root causes behind behaviour, emotional pain, relationship struggles, and survival patterns and help people create real change through awareness, regulation, accountability, and practical tools.

A lot of people intellectually understand themselves, but they are still repeating the same painful behaviors. You can talk about your trauma every week, but awareness without application changes nothing. My work is about helping you apply self-awareness in real life. I will give you the practical tools, strategies, and accountability to stop repeating the past.

Learning new information is one thing. Consistently applying it when you are triggered, overwhelmed, emotional, or falling back into old patterns is another. This package gives you ongoing support to help bridge that gap.

  • One 1 hour coaching call at the beginning where we explore your patterns, nervous system responses, behaviours, challenges, and goals
  • A second 1 hour coaching call 4 weeks later to review progress, work through obstacles, answer questions, and refine strategies where needed

Plan 3: Deep Transformation

This is an intensive 6 week coaching experience for people who are serious about creating long term change in how they think, feel, communicate, and respond to life.

We work closely together throughout the 6 weeks to help you better understand your nervous system, behavioural patterns, emotional triggers, relationships, and coping mechanisms while building healthier ways of thinking and responding.

This is not passive coaching. It requires honesty, consistency, self reflection, and a willingness to apply the work in your everyday life.

All coaching is done online through voice or video call depending on what you feel most comfortable with.

What we will work on:
  • Understanding the connection between your past experiences, nervous system, emotions, and behaviours
  • Identifying unhealthy patterns, triggers, coping mechanisms, and survival responses
  • Learning practical tools to regulate your mind and body
  • Building healthier communication, boundaries, emotional awareness, and self trust
  • Replacing reactive habits and behaviours with safer and more conscious responses
  • Creating routines, strategies, and actions that support long term change
  • Working through resistance, avoidance, self sabotage, and accountability

What you receive:
  1. One 1 hour coaching call every week for 6 weeks
  2. Ongoing messaging support Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm for guidance, accountability, questions, and support throughout the process
  3. A Monday morning voice message to help keep you focused, grounded, and prepared for the week ahead
