Jiellâh Cardigan
Looking for a new favourite cardigan you can wear every day and with any outfit? The Jiellâh cardigan was designed to be just that! Jiellâh is Inari Saami and means favourite. The polished look of this loose fitting cardigan is achieved with a few simple finishing touches.
The graphic but understated texture looks interesting and is both enjoyable to make and easy to style any way you wish!
Design notes
This cardigan is worked from the bottom up. The body is worked in one piece, flat to underarms. From there, the right and left fronts and back are worked separately to shoulders.
Shoulder seams are then joined and sleeve stitches are picked up from the arm openings and worked top-down and in the round.
Button band is worked as a knitted-on edge in double knitting and rows are worked in the same direction as body.
