Finn Scarf
This scarf design features an all over diagonal stripe pattern and an interesting modular construction.
This is a great pattern for an adventurous beginner who wants to stretch their skillset with new techniques!
Design notes
This scarf is worked flat and has an interesting modular contruction. It consists of two trapezoid shaped sections (A and B) that are joined together at the end by grafting with kitchener st.
The scarf is worked with 2 colours in a regular all over stripe pattern and both ends are finished with ribbing and a bobbled BO.

Yarn
4 ply / fingering weight wool yarn in two colours.
Samples are knit with Mominoki Yarn Finnwool (100% Finnsheep wool, 360m / 394yds – 100g)
The Yellow sample in colours Curry (MC) and Light Grey (CC).
The Cream and navy sample in colours Milk Tea (MC) and Denim. (CC).
Main colour (MC): 2 skeins or 470m / 515yds.
Contrast colour (CC): 1 skein or 160m / 175yds.
Needles
3.75mm / US5, 100cm / 42” circular needle.
Notions
Stitch markers, tapestry needle.
For tassels: Cardstock, scissors.
Gauge
20 sts and 34 rows = 10cm / 4" with 3.75mm / US5 needle in stripe pattern.
Measured from blocked and relaxed fabric.
