This journal is a follow-up to the workbook
Develop a Self-Disciplined Lifestyle published earlier this year. I recommend that you use it on a daily basis as you build your self-discipline practice. The journal includes entries for one full week, Monday-Sunday. Each daily entry is spread across three pages and consists of five sections:
- SITREP (situation report)
- The Discomfort Zone (how to build your discomfort muscle)
- The Work (daily schedule)
- Push it Further (prompts for increasing your efforts incrementally)
- Performance Review (reviewing your work and giving yourself a performance score)
You will also find two types of schedule templates to help you maximize every part of the day:
- Morning journal templates to take advantage of your peak performance hours in the early hours of the day
- Pomodoro sessions templates to complete short sprints of work based on the Pomodoro method (divided into morning, afternoon, and evening Pomodoros).
To get the most out of this self-discipline journal, I recommend that you print it, write in it every day, and be consistent — don’t skip a day!
