How to make a good essay?

1. Sort the information

The obvious difficulty of an essay is the selection of information. If you work under time constraints, this difficulty will be your main opponent. You don't have time to ask yourself, for every piece of information, "Should I talk about this?"


2. Use an effective style

Preferably use short sentences. You can construct multiple clause sentences, but avoid lyricism, this is not the place. The more your writing translates a logical flow, the more useful and pleasant it will be to read.

If you vary or write more complicated sentences, think about your reader, whose goal is to get to the point as quickly as possible. Any complex sentence should have logical connectors and be clear. If not, you can certainly cut it into two shorter sentences.


3. Use the format

5. Remove the marks of oral: hesitation, verbal tics, ready-made formulas, repetitions, etc.

For example, if the speaker constantly pronounces the word "actually", it is because it is a tic that has no precise meaning. We can therefore delete it. If a speaker starts their sentence with a hesitation, a phrase like "how to say", or "you know that", you can probably delete it.
